Privacy Policy

BookInDZ (“we”) operates bookindz.com and the BookInDZ mobile app. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights. It should be read with the cookie policy and terms of use.

1. Data controller

The controller is the publisher of BookInDZ, reachable at contact@bookindz.com, Sidi Ali Lebhar, Béjaia, Algeria, phone +213 551 20 43 14. Identification details are on the legal notice page.

2. Data we collect and why

We only collect what is needed for each purpose:

• Contact form (website): name, email, subject, message — to answer you.
• Partner application (website): name, phone, email, offer type, city, indicative price, description, optional photo link — to review owner listings.
• Consent record: checkbox when you submit a form.
• App account: first name, last name, email, phone, date of birth — to create and manage your account.
• Bookings: booking details. Payments go through Stripe (EUR) and Chargily (DZD); we do not store card numbers.
• Website technical data: hosting logs (IP, browser) for security and operations. No ads and no third-party analytics at this time.
• Cookie consent: your choice stored in the browser’s local storage.

3. How we use them

To answer your messages, review partner applications, provide the booking service, keep the site and app secure, and meet our legal obligations.

4. Recipients

Your data is used by BookInDZ and, where needed, by technical providers (hosting, forms, authentication, payments). We do not sell your data. A partner (car, stay, activity) only receives what is needed for a booking you requested.

5. Providers

Some providers may process data outside Algeria. We only share what is needed to run the service.

6. Retention

• Contact / partner messages: for handling, then a limited time after the last exchange.
• App account: while the account is active, then deletion on request.
• Bookings / invoicing: applicable legal periods.

7. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your data, and you may withdraw consent. Email contact@bookindz.com.

8. Children

The service is for users aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.

9. Security

Encrypted connections (HTTPS). We do not store your card numbers. Report any incident to contact@bookindz.com.

10. Changes

The date at the top is the current version. Material changes may be announced on the site or by email.
